Kyiv, UA, and New York, US: International Institute of Innovations, YaVkursi, and Verificient Technologies partner to bring modern technologies of high-stake proctored exam conducting to Ukraine.

We are pleased to announce that Verificient Technologies, Inc. has been selected to participate in the project intended to initiate the development of the national standard of conducting trustful high-stake exams that have to provide a common solution to conduct exams both in the distance and on-site formats.

Global technological trends in education, COVID-19 pandemic challenges, and long-term problems of the education quality measurement in Ukraine require the introduction of remote assessment technologies. Online assessment technologies are widely used by United States educational institutions with valuable help fromVerificient Technologies. The accumulated experience has revealed the advantages and challenges of remote exams. Remote education quality assessment for Ukraine should be implemented taking into account this experience.

Our first target is a national examination program for university admission which is called EIT (Education Independent Testing). We plan to develop and elaborate on an alternative method of conducting EIT in a remote format. 

The first Trial EIT Online in September 2021. The project is designed to attract more than 500,000 high school students in remote testing. A control group of about 1000 participants will be selected, who will have the opportunity to pass a full test with automatic control of compliance with testing rules and full evaluation of work, including the part that involves an expert and cannot be checked automatically.

Who will benefit from the project? It will bring valuable technology in the hands of all the Ukrainian Universities, Governmental institutions, and businesses for remote personal evaluation. It will bring knowledge evaluation to the new level of quality and will start a new business area developed in the USA, but currently not developed in Ukraine.
